Southeastern Pennsylvania Intergroup Association (444 No. 3rd St., Ste #3E, Philadelphia - Phone: (215) 923-7900) has two fundraisers a year:

In the Spring The Annual Roundup

In the Fall The Annual Dinner/Dance

The Round Up:

Whether at the seashore or in the mountains, this weekend is always a great way to celebrate your sobriety. The Special Events Committee needs volunteers from the five county area to help plan an event like this. There is the search for a hotel, the planning for the workshops or meetings, catering, the dance, the speakers for both Friday and Saturday, ordering tickets, organizing the finances, etc.

The Dinner/Dance

Planning for our annual Dinner/Dance requires investigating restaurants that can hold a large number of dinner guests, planning the menu, getting speakers, a deejay or band, and sometimes door prizes.

This committee is directed by the Vice-Chairperson of Intergroup. Anyone interested in volunteering to assist in making sure these events are successful, please email the office at info@sepennaa.org or visit the committee on the last Monday of every month at the Intergroup office. It is open to anyone who wishes to join.
