The Southeastern Pennsylvania Intergroup Association of Alcoholics Anonymous welcomes you to its official web site.  SEPIA covers the Southeastern Pennsylvania area, including the city of Philadelphia and the surrounding counties of Bucks, Chester, Delaware, and Montgomery.  Our primary purpose is to carry the message of recovery to the alcoholic who still suffers.  If you want to drink, that's your business; if you want to stop, it's ours.

Sunday, May 24 - the SATURDAY BACK TO BASICS 6:30 pm Doylestown group is sponsoring their ANNUAL MEMORIAL DAY PICNIC from noon to sunset at the Peace Valley Park Pavilion # 3.  Bring your favorite picnic side dish to share, hot dogs, hamburgers, paper products will be provided.  Meeting at 3 pm with a special guest speaker.  All are welcome!  Rain or Shine!  Volleyball, horse shoes, baseball.

Saturday, 0ctober 3 - District 21 will conduct a workshop "The History of AA in the Philadelphia Area" from 11 am to 3 pm at Good Shepherd Church 877 Street Road, Southampton.  Lunch will be served as well as popcorn for the showing of the movie "Philly AA file".  All are welcome.


October 23 to 25 - Downingtown Young People's Conference (DYPC ODAAT 2015), Camp Innabah, 712 Pughtown Road, Pughtown (19475)  Food, fun, fellowship, meetings, pumpkings, halloween dance, talent show, hay rides, bondfire.  Website:  (Young means anyone who still has room to grow!)


NEEDS SUPPORT:  Tuesday nights at 7 pm - BIG BOOK BREAKDOWN at Trinity Unity Presbyterian Church at 360 N Oak Road in Clifton Heights (19018).  Help carry the message by reading the book.

Sunday, May 10 - the DELCO-CPC local zone meeting will be held at Chester Prospect at 34 South Macdade Blvd, Glendolen (19036) Come help us introduce AA to our professionals (medical, legal, judicial and religious).  All are welcome.

Wednesday, May 27 - District 32 and YPAA Q&A session & Ice Cream Social from 7:30 pm to 9 pm at the Princeton Presbyterian Church, 933 Baltimore Pike, Springfield (19064).  Come meet AA members in service with Area 59, PENNSCYPAA, Philadelphia Bid for ICYPAA and Downington Young People.  Learn how to get involved in service.


AMBLER GROUP at the Upper Dublin Lutheran Church School at Butler and Susquehanna in Ambler needs support.  42 year old meeting meets at 8:30 pm on Friday nights.  All are welcome. 

Tuesday, May 27 (4th Tuesday of every month) and Tuesday, May 26 - the local MONTGOMERY COUNTY ZONE Public Information (PI) and Cooperation with the Professional Communities (CPC) committee meets at St. Peter's Church at 654 North Easton Road in Glenside at 7 pm. All interested in serving on one of these commitees are welcome to attend.

SEPIA is always in need of volunteers to help carry the message of recovery. You simply have to show up. Most committees do not have a length of sobriety requirement. There are several ways to get involved.

  1. Volunteer at the SEPIA office. We ask one year of continuous sobriety to answer phones at the office. If you have less than a year, there are plenty of things you can do to help. For instance, we can always use help putting our newsletter, Interviews, together toward the end of each month.
  2. Get involved with one of our 12 Step Committees (Click Here). These committees meet at the SEPIA office, 444 N. 3rd Street, 3rd Floor, Philadelphia at 7 p.m. (unless otherwise noted) on the following nights:
